“Menopause isn't an ending; it's a metamorphosis into a beautiful, powerful butterfly.” - Unknown

Embracing your Second Spring is an unique online offering for (Peri) Menopause taking place over the course of 5 Saturdays in February & March (with an optional integration session at the end).

This offering weaves in yoga with Chinese Medicine to support your whole self.

Movement, lectures, discussion & journal prompts will be offered for each of the 5 Elements & their organ pairings.

We'll look at how to support our organs physically & energetically, as well as the emotional energies of each Element.

We will talk about some of the main symptoms, their root causes, and offer some acupressure.

Our yoga practices will work with the energies of each Element & their corresponding meridians.

Each practice will be trauma informed & functional movement. Weekly practices could include Hatha with elements of flow, gentle, Yin, restorative with pranayama and meditation.

Our Autumn years (Perimenopause), represented by the caterpillar, are a time when we start to notice the shift into our later reproductive years. We might feel like our lives are falling apart & our symptoms might be more noticeable. Perimenopause is often depicted as something to be feared & fixed. It's not a disease & we aren't broken. We're in the process of recalibrating for the next phase of our life.

Our Winter years (menopause) are a time of deep reflection. You may start to feel like you need to withdraw & do less. We cocoon & rest, as we find inner awareness and embrace our wisdom. Liberation requires surrender.

Post menopause, our second Spring, we emerge from the cocoon as a butterfly testing its wings for the first time. This is the new you. We can start to live our purpose, to be our authentic self.

Traditional Chinese Medicine works with the idea that we are all individual & unique, so there is no "one size fits all" approach. It's also about treating the cause of the symptom rather than the symptom itself. This series is a stepping stone, an offering, for your inner journey.

Who is this for?

These sessions are open to all women, trans men, and nonbinary individuals moving through (Peri) Menopause.

-You're interested in supporting your whole self during this life phase

-You want to treat the cause of your symptoms (not just the symptoms themselves)

-You're feeling a little lost & are trying to make sense of it all

-You're interested in the spiritual aspect of the menopause transition

-You've reached a level of acceptance but are hoping to dig a little deeper

-You're post menopause but feel like something is missing
